Contact details stay private. Every introduction goes through the FOLA office.

Find Care You Can Check

Practices, locums and home care across five countries. Shortlist the ones you want, send one request, and the FOLA office introduces you on WhatsApp.

How an Introduction Works

Five steps, the same for everyone on FOLA. Open each one to read it.

  1. 1Browse and shortlist

Open the listings and add the ones that suit you to your shortlist. It waits in the basket at the bottom right of every page.

  2. 2Send one request

One short form covers everything on your shortlist. No account, no password and no diagnosis needed.

  3. 3Confirm with the emailed code

FOLA emails you a six digit code. Nothing reaches the FOLA office until you enter it.

  4. 4Introduced on WhatsApp

A FOLA coordinator contacts you within one business day and introduces you to the listings you chose. Contact details pass only then.

  5. 5You deal directly

You book the visit, agree the cover or place the order directly. FOLA holds no treatment money.

What the Three Marks Mean

Every listing carries one of three marks. Post not confirmed means the person behind it has not confirmed their email yet. Genuine post means they have. Verified by FOLA means a person at FOLA also checked it against the register.

The Verified mark is never a rating of clinical skill, and it is never for sale.

Built for Practices to Be Found

A FOLA listing brings patients to a practice without advertising, sets it apart from unregistered operators, and opens the supply side: post what you need and listed suppliers put themselves forward. When the regular doctor is away, a locum is a shortlist away.

Regional Trade Raises Care

When a practice in Windhoek can source from a supplier in Johannesburg, and a clinic in Lusaka from one in Harare, more of the right equipment reaches more patients. FOLA Supply opens that trade between five countries, and only to suppliers whose company, regulator approval and licences check out.

Five Countries, Five Rulebooks

FOLA checks every listing against its own country's councils and regulators. Use the country picker at the top of any page to see one country only.
